WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:
The Alimony Reform Act of 2011 takes effect on March 1, 2012. One provision of the Act which has caused much controversy and confusion relates to the exclusion of income used to calculate child support from the calculation of alimony. How will this provision be applied at different income levels? Is this a bright line rule or are there exceptions?
